Kinti Systems · MERP

The system your business sells, invoices and closes the month with

MERP brings together what you keep in notebooks, spreadsheets and your head: clients, catalog, inventory, register, purchasing, banks and accounting. Built in Ecuador, for how invoicing and tax filing actually work here.

14 days free, no card

  • 27 modules with real screens
  • 31 written guides
  • SRI electronic invoicing
  • Ecuador: tax ID, RIMPE, VAT and IFRS chart of accounts

Day to day

Four things that happen every day, and where they happen

You do not have to learn a whole ERP to start. These four screens are 80% of an ordinary week.

01

You sell

Quote, confirm the order, deliver, invoice and collect. Each step leaves the next one started, and the journal entry comes out on its own, balanced.

Sales documents

02

You buy and store

Order from the supplier, receive, record their invoice and pay. What reaches the warehouse moves stock; what does not is an expense, not inventory.

Purchasing and Inventory

03

You reconcile

The journal fills itself from what you did everywhere else. Accounting is the module you will open least, and that is the point of it.

Accounting

04

You take payment at the counter

Open the register at the start of the shift, take payment across one or several tenders during the day, and close by reconciling the drawer against what the system says.

Everything that already works

These are the catalog modules, exactly as the system serves them. Anything in beta carries its label, and any tab still missing is named on its own module page.

Who it is for

Sole trader, company or accountant

The first thing sign-up asks is which of these you are, because everything else follows from it: your chart of accounts, your obligations, and which modules make sense to turn on.

  • Sole trader

You invoice under your own ID, with no company in between. You pick your tax regime and MERP puts the right legend on every document.

You can start without a tax ID too

  • Company

S.A.S., Cía. Ltda., S.A. or another form, with its capital, its shareholders and their ownership percentages kept current for the corporate registry.

Twelve legal forms from the Ecuador catalog

  • Accountants

The chart of accounts is the IFRS master catalog, the same one you already use. You can receive your clients’ MERP invoices without receiving anyone else’s, and record your own invoice without the client having to turn on catalog or inventory.

How you sign up

Ten questions and you are in

No contract to sign, no salesperson to talk to, no card to register. You sign in with Google, answer the wizard, and get 14 days to try it with your whole team.

  1. 01

    Your business

What it is called and which country you operate in.

  2. 02

    Incorporation

Whether it is already incorporated or you are just starting.

  3. 03

    Legal details

Sole trader or company, legal form, tax ID and regime.

  4. 04

    Activity

What you do. The suggested modules come from this.

  5. 05

    Modules

Turn on or off whatever you want. The price does not change.

  6. 06

    Profile

Your details. You will be the account owner.

  7. 07

    Identity

Your logo and colors, which show up in the sidebar, invoices and reports.

  8. 08

    Your team

Who you invite. Each person counts towards the price.

  9. 09

    Billing

Who we invoice: you, your company, or a third party.

  10. 10

    Your plan

A summary of what is about to be created, and that is it.

If your legal form has shareholders, one more step appears between Profile and Identity. Everything is saved as you go: you can stop halfway and come back.

No tax ID. Start today.

You do not need a registered company to get organised. Keep your clients and catalog from day one, control your inventory and counter sales, and leave the accounting set up and waiting. When you get your tax ID you add it in Business settings and electronic invoicing turns on. Nothing has to start over.

The Vault

We cannot read your passwords. Not as a policy — there is no way to.

The Vault encrypts every password on your own device before it leaves it, with a key derived from a secret in the system keystore combined with your PIN. The server holds unreadable data. Neither Kinti nor your company administrator can open it, because the mechanism does not exist — the server has no key and cannot ask for one.

When you create your vault you download a rescue key. That is what restores access if you change devices or clear your browser data, and it is yours to keep.

Caja Fuerte

Contraseñas y claves de cada persona, cifradas en su propio equipo. Ni KINTI ni el administrador de tu empresa pueden leerlas.

And in transit

Request bodies travel inside an encrypted envelope — AES-256-GCM for the content, RSA-OAEP for the envelope key — on top of HTTPS. Web and desktop do this today; iOS and Android do not yet.

Kinti Systems

We are a software company. MERP is what we built first.

Kinti Systems is an Ecuadorian software company. MERP is our product and where nearly all of our work goes, but it is not the only thing we work on. Whatever comes next gets announced when it exists and can be used, not before.

Pricing

One price, no per-module charge

You pay for the people using it, not for what you turn on.

Questions

What people usually ask before starting

How much does MERP cost?

25.00 USD per user per month, VAT included. There is one plan and it is called Monthly. There is no per-module charge: turn on whichever ones you want and the price does not change, because you pay for the people using the system, not for what you enable. We are currently in a demo phase: you will not be charged anything. We will give you advance notice before billing starts.

Do I need a tax ID to start?

No. You can sign up as a company in formation, without a tax ID, and keep your clients, catalog, inventory and sales from day one. The only thing left waiting is electronic invoicing, because without a tax ID the tax authority will not authorise any document. When you get your tax ID you add it in Business settings and it turns on. Nothing has to start over.

Does it work if I am a sole trader with no company?

Yes. That is precisely the first thing sign-up asks: whether you invoice under your own ID or whether there is a company involved. Both are complete paths, with their legal form and tax regime — in Ecuador a sole trader and an S.A.S. can both be under the RIMPE regime.

How do I sign up for MERP?

You sign in with your Google account and a wizard asks you ten questions: what your business is called, whether it is incorporated, your legal details, what you do, which modules you want, your details, your logo and colors, who you invite from your team, who we invoice, and your plan. If your legal form has shareholders there is one extra step for the ownership structure. There is no contract to sign and no salesperson to talk to.

Does MERP issue electronic invoices to the Ecuadorian tax authority?

Yes: invoices, credit notes, debit notes and withholding receipts. MERP builds the XML, signs it with your electronic signature, submits it, waits for authorisation and generates the printable document. It also reads the XML a supplier sends you and leaves the purchase invoice started. Three things are needed to issue: authorisation from the tax authority, an electronic signature, and a system that builds the document. MERP is the third.

Can I use MERP to file my Ecuadorian tax returns?

To prepare and reconcile them, yes. MERP projects the month from what you already invoiced and purchased, sets the transactional annex against form 104 box by box and, if they do not match, will not let you close. You download the ATmmaaaa.zip under the exact filename the portal demands, and the 104 as a spreadsheet. Filing itself you do on the tax authority portal: MERP does not connect to it for that. When you come back you mark the return as filed with its receipt number, and from then on the only way out is a substitute return, with its reason written down.
